Hi I am back for a rather short break before going back to an island called tekong. Sadly, I contracted the tekong cough recently, after recovering and now my voice is worse than ever. The feeling of getting home was really wonderful….although it’s rather short.

Training is toughening up and all my instructors are expecting more from my platoon. My platoon has great capable people, including me though I know it’s rather thick skin or beh hia bai of me saying that. I love leading song and giving timing though sometimes I do made certain mistakes. I had 2 SOC training this week and I manage to clear all stations except the low rope and the swinging bar aka as monkey bar. As a matter of fact I did not really kind of enjoy the lessons of SOC, but I have to force myself to love it. O gosh! But there were other interesting trainings that I certainly do enjoy like IMT, combat training and route march. There were a couple of lectures that were nice but some might be boring too.

Guess what the night before IPPT; I had a fever of up till 38.2 degree Celsius. I took 2 panadol and prayed very badly as I really want to complete my IPPT. So I prayed and I couldn’t really sleep the whole night I was practically cold. But the temperature decreased subsequently. And GUESS WHAT! God gave me the best part of my life; I passed my IPPT the next day despite being sick. Here’s the breakdown

Standing broad jump 216cm
Pull up 6 (I have stretch all the way before pulling myself up again)
Shuttle run 10.1s (I AM AMAZED; I usually got 10.8-11s)
2.4 km run around 10-11 min (I haven gotten the result yet, but I knew I am back on form)

Well as you can see, I am beginning to see god’s power in me. Last Sunday, I went to city harvest church for worship. BBTC has 1 on Sunday, but it’s for adult services. Furthermore, I did not have cell group meeting on that day, so I went to CHC instead, the worship and sermon are really fantastic. I was really amazed to see thousands and thousands of worshippers praising my lord.
