I guess it will be more pertinent to update my blog before my dreadful A level Examinations ends. In fact, I have 2 more papers to go before crushing my entry proof documents. GOSH! I was not really satisfied or rather “happy” when my schoolmates were cheering when they had their last paper yesterday. I have no choice; Fmaths is on Monday followed by Maths S paper. I am going to do well for it. I thought Fmaths was fine although I just found out I had roughly 16-17 marks gone for paper 1. But the rest was ok, I got similar answer as the rest. Hmm maybe a breakdown of the subjects
Physics,
Paper 1
Easy, can get a very good decent score
Paper 2
Bad for me, I made lots of careless mistakes especially the oscillations part, but it was fine overall. It was so much better than prelims
Paper 3
OK, I know how to do all; it was kind of tricky for some parts. I don’t have any marks deducted yet.
Grade: I leave it for god to decide.
Chemistry (a subject I never passed since 2005)
Paper 1
Was ok, but I found out that lots of my answers were different from the others. I was afraid though. But one thing definitely, I am going to pass my paper 1
Paper 2
Easy, as other had said, the paper was doable, and surprisingly, I even know how to do the organic chemistry section, which I usually leave blanks in 2005
Paper 3
Was disastrous, I did not attempt the bio-chem section, leaving 20 marks blank. O gosh!!!!
But I think I can pass, I mean I can pass, a pass that seems average, I guess.
Grade: God decides for me! Smilez
C maths (A subject I die die must get an A)
Paper 1
Was easy…..as usual…if I do not know how to do more than 30% of the questions, I can go “commit suicide” (literally). Not that I am arrogant, but for your info, I am a FMATHS students.I have been doing maths for life for 2 years, which somehow I do enjoy. There was this 3d trigo question which makes me think and do for like 20 mins, trying to figure out that horrible angle. I got correct but I forget to round up or down. I had only 4 marks deducted from paper 1 overall. The rest should be more or less correct.
A is achievable.
Paper 2
It was easy as usual. I was wise enough to choose the particle mechanics question. In fact, this year that option was very easy. So ya. An A is 100% in my hand hahaha (hmm….maybe I should not be confident.) I heard those who did stats found the paper hard, as the stats option was hard this year.
General Paper (A subject which I always fear off (but god provides shielding effect))
Paper 1
Great!!! So they came out 2 questions on environment, which was good, I studied that option. I did the question on effective farming…..dump everything I knew and well link back to the question on the effect of science.
Paper 2
It was kind of weird, the question they asked, about aggression. Haha….so ya crap my way through for AQ….but it was still kind of ok. So, there wasn’t that much of a problem
Over the two weeks, I notice a “strange” logo that appeared at the bottom of each cover page of all subjects. And guess what, it’s SEAB….hmmm seems like MOE likes to plan what to come out for our paper. Not surprising that this year papers were strange, some can be even tough. Hmm, I am predicting…like I said I am just predicting….SEAB might set up a GCE level exams under Singapore.Haha, just a guess….
Ok 2 more to go and I will be free!!!!!!!!!!!!!
