NCC Day Dinner 2005

I took Bus no.854 to Khatib MRT. Gosh!!!!! It’s along journey, took me about 1hr 15 minutes to reach there from Bedok. I was suppose to meet up with Jinfu and Chee yong, But it turns out that, I am supposed to meet Teck Teng and Cheeyong. It was supposed to a MJC CLTS meet-up, but it turned out to be kind of different. HAHA, so I took the ferry service to Orchid Country Club with Cheeyong and some other CLTS from Central (That’s because Cheeyong came with them). Finally I touched down OCC, went to register my name, got 2 slips of paper. Finally I went off for “photo-taking session”, I took pictures with lots of CLTS, most from East District(the District I am proud to be in).

At around 6-7pm we finally went to our seats. I sat with Xiao Mao, Chee Kui, Jennifer and Fairul at table 6, together with 3 other CLTS from Air and Encik Kitto. I guess I was fortunate to sit beside one of the Air CLTS, Richard. He is currently in BMTC, and he told me loads of great stuff about BMTC.I guess it will be kind of handy for myself. I am also surprised, this is the first time, I did not pay full attention what Dr Arthur Beng was saying, unlike last time. MP Mr Chan Soo Sen’s speech was unclear,I can hardly hear anything back then. So I was off busy talking with the CLTS in table 6. Richard was a nice chap, so we are busy talking and talking………Finally the first dish of that night was up, cold plate, as usual. O there’s one thing funny about this year. We are eating a full 8-course Halal Chinese Meal, but we are using fork spoon and knife instead of chopsticks and spoon. So we are served with Chinese food, but ended up eating the food like as if we are having a western dinner meal. HAHA!!!! So you can imagine us slicing the roasted chicken or using the fork to grab hold of the steam sea bass meat. Dinner was great!!!!!
We had cold dish, chicken with white fungus soup (it’s so much better than shark’s fin), roasted chicken, steam sea bass, steam prawns, fried rice(this was the worst dish I ever had for that night, but other than that the food was ok), and Grass Jelly with longan (too sweet).

As usual, for every NCC Day Dinner, award is always presented to the awardees. But this year, Outstanding CLTS award and Gold Cert is presented in the dinner. Mdm Devi got her award first followed by xiao mao,Fairul then jenny, me and Chee Kui took the outstanding award. I was so shocked when Jennifer almost fell when she tripped; luckily she did not fell. She went on then came to me say ,”I almost fell down”. But that did not really bother her. That’s because, we have a very nice and large supporters out there. OUT FELLOW EAST CLTS!!!!!!!! Basically, if any east CLTS went up on the stage, you will hear loud cheers applause and screaming from the East District CLTS Table. I am so glad to have them as my working partners!!!!! GO EAST!!!!!!!!!!

As usual after the award ceremony, basically, it’s photo taking session again. DC was with us. Wow, firstly Mdm Devi danced with DC, and then we have photo-taking session, all the East CLTS and Lt-Riduwan, Lt-Zulfarhan, Sgt Mustafa, Sgt Mushakim. I guess we were the noisy bunch out there. The ceremony ended about 10pm. I was kind of surprised this year that Central District did not take a district photo at all. It was kind of shocking. And I must really thank CPT Leong, for his guidance and impact he made on me. I went off with Mdm Devi back home!!!!!!

Farewell BBQ for Lt Riduwan and Sgt Mustafa.
So we have gathering once again. EAST DISTRICT IS ALWAYS A ONE BIG FAMILY, we just had the family gathering games, ncc day dinner, now bbq!!!!!!!
I went to Pasir Ris Park with Mdm Devi. We played basketball, talking session blar blar blar. I enjoyed my time there. I must hereby thank SUHAILAH, thank you so much for your great effort that u have put in. The mee and foods are great. Lt riduwan and Sgt mus were thrown to the shore of the sea haha!!!! Then we present their farewell gift and token of appreciation. We went back around 10 plus.

I am now basically making use the full 2weeks of my time to study hard and do well in my exams!!!!!!!!!
I just got back my CCA points I got an A hurray 28 points!!!!!! At last I manage to survive the PEARLS Point Mania!!!!!!!!!
